Do you want a 54% increase in learning outcomes for instructor-led training?
AI does for training today what LEGO bricks and Schoolhouse Rock started decades ago.
In the 1970s, Schoolhouse Rock! transformed boring or complicated subjects into fun, quick animated videos that - 50 years later - people still remember. An entire generation of kids learned how bills become laws (“A Bill on Capitol Hill), basic sentence structure (“Conjunction Junction,” “Verb!,” “Lolly Lolly Lolly Get Your Adverbs Here”), and even math (“Zero My Hero”). At the same time, LEGO was creating a toy empire based on using simple plastic bricks to encourage play, learning, and creativity. In fact, LEGO has an entire group called LEGO Education that uses LEGO bricks and research-based curricula for schools that is centered around hands-on learning.
AI enables training participants to make videos, songs, apps, infographics, explainer videos, and almost anything their imagination can come up with to help make learning more impactful.
Use AI as part of live, instructor-led workshops to increase engagement, enhance learning, and enable participants to learn by building and creating.
The Association of Talent Development shared a study that showed active learning led to a 54% better outcomes when compared to passive learning.
An example…
Start with a prompt. This alone gets people using critical thinking skills, collaborating with others, and using AI in a low-stakes way.
In less than a minute, AI creates the lyrics to a song. A group can collaborate to improve and refine.
AI then produces two songs in any style that the user wants.
The group can use AI to build an album cover.
And even a music video of sorts.
What if…
…multiple groups were doing the song exercise and the participants created a “best-of” album to hammer home the key points from the workshop
…small groups created 8-second videos that were edited together to make a 60-second summary.
…the groups produced “podcasts” that summarized content.
…people made explainer videos, how-to guides, or infographics.
…apps, websites, and prototypes were built in minutes.
…groups built and presented games and fun quizzes.
…all of these artifacts were stored in a central location and could be accessed later
…these were combined with our SPARK Learning offering.
